• All clients are protected from disclosure of information that violate their right to privacy except where required by law, i.e. child abuse and suicide prevention.
• Pregnancy Resource Center personnel are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of private information. Disclosure by and between volunteers and employees of private information shall occur only as necessary to carry out job functions.
  
• Information is released to third parties only upon written authorization from the client. This written authroization will be time limited and will not exceed 90 days from the date of signature. A staff person or volunteer from the Center will witness the written authorization.
  
• No confidential information will be released to anyone (even the client) over the telephone.
